Muna Obiekwe-8 things you didn't know about late Nollywood actor

Check out the many things you didn't know about the late talented Nollywood actor, Muna Obiekwe.

Talented Nollywood actor, Muna Obiekwe passed away after battling with Kidney disease. The actor who loved to keep his life private, featured in over 300 movies.

Vera Kanu, a mother figure to the late Muna in Nollywood, confirmed that the actor was addicted to alcohol.

He was also a private guy who didn’t want the press or his colleagues to feast on his pain, and include him amongst 'Nollywood’s industry of beggars’.
Here we go;
  • Muna was scared of the press.
Muna was not ready to beg or raise money because he was too ashamed of what his colleague or press will say. “The guy was private. He kept to himself a lot and most importantly, kept his private life private; for instance, many people did not even know he was married with two children. Such was his life. He didn’t want press or his colleagues to start prying.
He was particularly afraid of the press, hence his shutting his colleagues out of his pain. He knew if some Nollywood people got to know about it, the press would also get to know. He refused to beg to save Nollywood’s image, he in-turn, lost himself.” A Nollywood star told us the press needs to take it easy with stars, “we are human too and like every other person, we have our pains. The press needs to be less judgmental. If he wasn’t too scared of the press, perhaps, he would have reached out for help.”
  • Muna drank heavily despite doctor’s warning.
“I was with him to the last hour.  He was to do up to 20 dialyses; the doctor said if the dialysis improved his condition, the worse would certainly be over. He will be okay only if he stays away from alcohol but you know our artiste” - Vera Kanu
  •  Kanayo O Kanayo, Patience Ozokwor, Vera Kanu and Ejiro Okurame rendered the help they could until his death.
“He was managing it on his own. As a matter of fact, he has been managing it for a while until Ejiro Okurame and I came on board to help. We were combining resources to help him but there was very little we could do to save him. We had to enlist the help of Patience Ozokwor and Kanayo O. Kanayo (KOK) at a point. They rendered the help they could until he died.” - Vera his godmother.
  •  He never got to reach out to Ibinabo Fiberesima(AGN President) despite a desire to do so.
Contrary to many reports Muna was not ready to beg or raise money because he was too ashamed of what his colleague or press will say.
Shortly before his death, Muna summoned enough courage and contacted Nollywood actress and AGN president, Ibinabo Fiberesima.
He however, promised to get back to her, but fate struck a fatal blow and he never did.
  • Muna discovered his ailment long time ago.
Muna discovered his kidney problem a long time ago but like most people, he thought he could manage it. He ignored the pain and continued working without paying much attention. According to a close source, he only took his drugs and medication once in a while as ‘Muna never believed the ailment could lead to his death.
He believed he would survive it like he did the gunshot and death of his parents. He was not a man given to worrying about things. He believed it was not a coincidence his parents named him Munachimso, a name which means God is walking with me.’
  • Muna was married with 2 children.
“The guy was private. He kept to himself a lot and most importantly, kept his private life private; for instance, many people did not even know he was married with two children.
  • Muna is the first cousin of Yul Edochie.
Muna is also the first cousin of Yul Edochie, that makes him a member of Pete Edochie’s family.
  • Muna was one of the three busiest actors in the Industry
Another thing many people do not know about him again is that he was one of the three busiest actors. The other two are Mike Ezuronye and Yul Edochie.

“I HAVE NOT HAD S * X IN A LONG WHILE NOW, I AM NOT PREGNANT FOR FLAVOUR!” ~ANNA BANNER

The two women in Flavour’s life; Anna Ebiere Banner who is a Former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria and Sandra Okagbue who is former Miss Delta soap and who recently had a child for the star, have recently been at loggerheads with each other over who really has the singer’s heart.
Now, there have been some reports that Anna Banner who is noted for her constant gushing about Flavour, despite that another woman already had a bay for him, is also pregnant for the star. But contrary to what people think, the Former Beauty Queen has dismissed the reports by declaring that she hadn't sleep with a man in a long while.
Please read below in her words as gathered from Netng:
“I don’t know where those peeps got their news from, I haven’t had s*x in a while now so where did the pregnancy come from.”
****
It could be true she has not had sex in a long while but talking about the fight, are these ladies toddlers? Don't they know that a man exclusively knows who his heart belongs to and that this should not ever be the reason for any form of antagonism between any two reasonable women?
Guys in the house, abi no bi so?

A 41 YEAR-OLD-SPARE PARTS DEALER NARRATES HOW HE KILLED HIS LADY FRIEND, AN AUSTRIAN RETURNEE ON CHRISTMAS DAY!!!

While many families were busy wining and dining in commemoration of the birth of Christ on the 25th of December 2014, the family of Ms Rose Aifuwa in Edo State was in laden with anguish over her murder on that same day. Rose, a mother of four and an Austrian citizen had returned to the country to celebrate the Yuletide with her family but met her untimely death in the hand of 41-yr-old Festus Aimufua who according to Rose’s family, killed their daughter because the decease requested and insisted for the payment of some debt from the suspect. The suspect was alleged to have hit the decease with his car and dragged her under the car till he got to Upper Mission Extension junction where he dumped the mangled body.
Festus who spoke with newsmen, expressed regret for killing the decease which he claimed was an accident and insisted that he does not owe the decease a dime. Please read below in his words:
“I am 41 years old and a motor spare parts dealer. I did not kill her. It happened on the 25th of December very early in the morning. There is one boy that help me to pack my goods, the boy was with me. After I dropped my family, I now decided to go and drop the boy. On getting to Upper Mission junction, she called me and asked if I didn’t know that, that day was watch night, and that if I would come to see her. I said I was coming. Immediately I turned my car and drove down to her shop, she had a bar. On getting there I saw some boys there drinking. I called the sales girl there and told her to give everybody drink. The drink amounted to N1,800. Among the boys there one of them knew me, so bought me one bottle. So I told my lady friend that I needed to go and drop the boy with me as he was drunk. I promised her that I will come back. That was how she allowed me go.
“I drove off. We stopped somewhere to have a drink. I equally bought drink for people there. But somehow I decided that I will go home after dropping the boy, but immediately I passed Upper Mission junction, near her place, her call came in. So I told her I was coming and I decided to turn my car to her house. When I got to her place, I took a stick of cigarette from her and told her that I will need to go home early, that some body was in my car. But as I was leaving her door she blocked me. I told her that I guessed she was drunk because any time she was drunk, that was the way she behaved. But the next thing I noticed was a slap, I retaliated. Before that I observed that some body was sleeping somewhere in her room, where I went to collect the cigarette. So I went outside but the boy sleeping there woke up and told me not to leave the house. She went to wake up another person and was telling the person something inside. So the guy came out and said I should not leave the compound. The boy started making calls, so I quickly entered my car and locked the car. I saw her rush towards me but I had pinned the doors already. But she blocked my car and I saw two of the boys trying to drag her out of my way. Then I zoomed off, but I was now asking my boy after we left the compound if I hit anybody. The boy said no, that God forbid. But I was not comfortable because I was really drunk”.
“The only goods she brought to me were in February, which was when we met. She brought them from Austria. I do not owe her a dime. Not as if we were even fighting but the problem she had was that any time I visited her she will not want me to leave when I wanted to. And that was the argument, especially when she was drunk”.
“After I checked my car very well, I did not notice anything. I went to my friend’s place to inform him of my fear. I now called some body to go to my lady’s house to find out whether I hit some body. The boy went and told me that there was nothing like that. So I became confused. I called my younger brother to help me investigate if she was okay. He called me later to say that he heard she was in hospital and that they had deposited money. He later called me to say that they saw a body at Upper Mission junction and that it was the lady. I called my friends and they said I should go to the police station to report myself.
“I can’t sleep, I can’t eat. This is somebody we did everything together and I loved her. I did not beat her, I don’t know what happened. After the incident, some youths went to my house to burn it down, all my people left the house. My sisters can no longer open their shops because they are scared. I am not owing her and we didn’t have any problem. I even bought her a bag of rice for Christmas. I did not kill before, I am devastated”.
